Biography

Born in New York City and raised in Chicago, Joey Ciccone began performing at an early age. Joey has been blessed with a vibrant baritone voice and an incredibly wide vocal range. He has established himself as an ambitious and polished performer, devoted to his love of entertaining, with his original and classy blend of contemporary styles and light jazz, with a touch of nostalgia.

Joey Ciccone’s audience is drawn to him by his smooth stage presence and engaging charisma, that blurs the lines of demographics. This ability has produced a loyal following of appreciative listeners who have packed some of the country’s finest jazz venues. He has built a multifaceted career that began in the jazz clubs of Chicago, moved on to Los Angeles (1990) and relocated to Las Vegas (2004).

Joey was discovered in Chicago in 1982, by the legendary Miles Davis, and was signed  to Expansion Records and Vitasia 22 Productions. Joey toured with Miles for several years, while also working on several feature film soundtracks. During this period Joey’s first album, Say Hello To Hollywood was released. Joey has also recorded several original pieces including a lasting tribute to his father, Carmine Ciccone in Dad’s Song, and the fan favorite LA Girl music video.

During his time in Los Angeles, Joey appeared at many clubs including Hollywood’s own The Cinegrill and the exclusive W Lounge in the Westwood Hotel. Although living in Las Vegas, Joey is still considered a regular performer there, and recently completed a performance at the Westwood Hotel. Joey has had  several appearances in Las Vegas, including “opening” for Jackie Mason at the StardustNew York, New York; and most recently the Plaza.

Joey Ciccone’s talents extend far beyond music, and he has received credits in numerous Feature Film; Television; Commercial Ads; and Stage Plays. His film credits include a feature part in the film American Yakuza, as well as roles in Heat, Casino, Crying 4 U,Rocky VI, and most recently Mission Impossible III. His television successes include roles on The Practice, The Guardian, and CSI, plus several commercial ads, including a nationally distributed Michelob commercial. Joey’s stage work includes closed off Broadway show at Rio in vegas.

Joey Ciccone is indeed the consummate triple-threat professional, who has proven that he is an intensely dedicated and talented individual with a young man’s attitude, coupled to a veteran’s precision.
